We have made special arrangements to accomodate pets at the Doubletree Hotel. Their usual policy excludes pets of all kinds, however they recognize that dogs in particular are a very important part of this event. They are therefore giving is a very special exception to their normal policy. While we have done all we can to ensure that the reservation staff are aware of this exception, there may be someone who does not get the message. We assure you that the special pet policy is in effect for NTIF, and a letter from the hotel outlining the special Hotel Pet Policy can be viewed here online.
Holiday Inn Park Cities, Dallas
Such is the popularity of NTIF that we are now contracting with two host hotels. The Doubletree will be where the action is, and for those looking for a quieter location with similar quality we can offer the same $85 rate at the newly remodeled and rebranded Holiday Inn Park Cities. Think it looks familiar? Yes, it used to be the Radisson but over the past year it has had a top to bottom makeover and was just recently relaunched as the Holiday Inn Park Cities.
The Holiday Inn is located at 6070 N. Central Expressway Dallas, TX 75206, phone ( 214) 750-6060. An additional benefit is that the Holiday Inn is just a short walk to Mockingbird Station, the location of Trinity Hall, the official NTIF Dallas watering hole! Stop in and say high to Marius and his hard working staff - he will most likely have one of two local bands playing till late in the evening.
The same complimentary shuttle will run between the Holiday Inn and Fair Park all day. The morning and evening schedule will also be about every 30 minutes and about an hour during the day.
Since they are understandably proud of their new facilities, pets will not be permitted at the hotel.
After the festival closes the party continues in the Doubletree Hotel lobby
bar or the classic Skyline Ballroom on the 21st floor and in two specially reserved session rooms. What could be better than looking out over the Dallas night sky with a cold Guinness listening to a traditional Irish Session.
It is an NTIF tradition for guests to meet with friends, exchange songs and tunes and enjoy a variety of session music till the wee hours. However, as a courtesy to other guests, please limit the sessions to the designated public areas. Loud music in the guest rooms is highly likely to upset your neighbors and prompt a visit from the hotel security staff.
Reservations can now be confirmed at either hotel. Call their reservation lines shown below and be sure to request the NTIF or Irish Festival rate.
