SCMA SEEKS NOMINEES FOR BOARD ELECTIONS

The Board of Directors of the SCMA comprises nine members elected each September for a three-year term. Board members may now run for reappointment for an unlimited number of terms. The election is by secret ballot of the SCMA membership at large and concludes at the annual meeting held on a Saturday morning at the end of September each year.

The only qualification for being placed on the ballot is that the individual is a fully subscribed SCMA member. There is only one vote per membership.

Applications now being accepted until August 13th 2010. Applicants or nominees should include a short bio referencing past SCMA or NTIF volunteer work, specific interests (finance, concerts, membership etc.) and any other information that would be helpful to the voting membership.
