SCMA SEEKS NOMINEES FOR BOARD ELECTIONS

The Board of Directors of the SCMA comprises nine members elected each September for a three-year term. Board members may run for reappointment for up to a two-term limit. The election is by secret ballot of the SCMA membership at large and concludes at the annual meeting held on a Saturday morning at the end of September each year.

The only qualification for being placed on the ballot is that the individual is a fully subscribed SCMA member. There is only one vote per membership.

Applications now being accepted until August 15th 2008. Applicants or nominees should include a short bio referencing past SCMA or NTIF volunteer work, specific interests (finance, concerts, membership etc.) and any other information that would be helpful to the voting membership.
